Bill Daniels made lasting friendships in Wyoming
when he launched his first cable television system in Casper in
1953. In establishing the Daniels Fund, one of his top priorities
was to provide college scholarships to students in the state who
might not otherwise be able to afford higher education.
The Daniels Fund has contracted with six of the
state’s community colleges to deliver college prep programming
and identify graduating high school seniors as candidates for
the 2006 Daniels Fund Scholarship. They include: Casper
College, Central Wyoming College, Eastern Wyoming College, Northwest
College, Sheridan College, and Western Wyoming College.
Students participating in the college prep program at Laramie
County Community College are also eligible through an
endorsed partnership with the Daniels Fund.
